Colorado has more than 2,000 reservoirs of 100 acre-feet or greater capacity. Of these 50 have outlet streams (tailwaters) offering anglers a variety of places to fish for trout. Along with Colorado’s well-known tailwaters the CD includes a number of other streams anglers have probably overlooked.
The CD includes articles on techniques for fishing tailwaters, a detailed description of each, color maps that show surface ownership of the land – private, CDOW, USFS, BLM, and National Parks. Links make navigation of the CD easy, which is in PDF for use on Mac and Windows computers. Every page can be printed so that users can take along a description of a tailwater to fish, and a map showing access. Maps and text can be printed on 8.5x11 paper.
